Guide
Light layers for autumn
Autumn weather is unpredictable: sun, rain and something in between on the same day. Light layers of merino adapt as the temperature changes and keep you dry and warm. Here is how we layer up for those tricky days.
Why layers
- Comfortable in changing temperaturesMerino wool insulates against the cold and absorbs moisture from your skin, so you stay comfortable when the weather and your activity level change.
- Less odour and fewer washesMerino wool does not develop odour as quickly as many other fabrics. Often, airing it is enough between wears.
- Soft against your skinFine merino fibres bend easily against the skin. The fabric feels soft and can be worn directly on the body.
- Easy to adjustTwo thin layers give more options than one thick one: open the zip, take a layer off, put it back on.

135 or 220 for autumn?
135 if you layer and move a lot, 220 if you prefer one warmer piece. Many wear a 135 long sleeve under the zip neck and adjust with the zip.
How often do I need to wash it?
Merino wool does not develop odour as quickly as many other fabrics. Often, airing a T-shirt overnight is enough between wears. When it needs a wash, follow our care guide.
Which size should I choose?
