ZN-240 is our men's Zip Neck, a soft, warm top with a zip at the neck. Wear it next to the skin or as a mid-layer over a T-shirt when you need more warmth. The zip makes it easy to open up when you get warm.
We chose a very loosely knitted fabric with small loops on the inside. The airy structure provides both softness and insulation, while the wool helps regulate temperature. The fabric and the rib at the neck and cuffs are knitted in Denmark from 100% merino wool, because we prefer pure wool's comfort for this top.
The loose knit is also more vulnerable to wear than a denser fabric. Threads can catch and be pulled out more easily, and friction can cause small balls of fibre to form on the pure wool surface, known as pilling. This is part of the trade-off in choosing this soft, open knit for its comfort.
The fit is generous. We recommend one size smaller than usual if you want the top to sit closer to the body. Choose your usual size if you prefer a relaxed, loose fit.
