T-OSS 135 O-NECK is our bestseller and the T-shirt that started LOOW. A simple crew neck with short sleeves, made with one aim: to bring the comfort of merino wool into everyday life. It has a regular fit, with no visible chest logos or an itchy label at the neck.

We deliberately chose a thin fabric weighing 135 g/m². It feels light and airy against the skin and lets excess heat escape easily. That makes it particularly comfortable indoors, on warm days, when travelling or being active. On cooler days, wear it as a base layer beneath a shirt or jumper.

The fabric is knitted in Denmark from 100% merino wool. We use pure wool because we feel it offers the best combination of softness, breathability and temperature regulation for this particular T-shirt. Wool's natural resistance to odour also means that airing it between wears is often enough.

The light fabric also has lower resistance to wear. It can develop holes more easily and wear out faster than our thicker fabrics. The 135 is therefore for you if you prioritise a light, airy feel. If greater durability matters more, we recommend the T-OSS 220 crew neck, knitted in a thicker, warmer fabric.

Our lightest fabric, knitted in Denmark from compact spun yarn from Germany and Italy. The fabric feels light and airy on the body, have excellent breathability and temperature regulation.

What makes this version different?

Compared to our heavier tops (160U/220), 135 is lighter and more breathable — ideal in heat and as a base layer.

How should I wash and care for merino to make it last?

Merino lasts longer with gentle care:

  • Use a wool/delicate cycle with wool detergent
  • Use laundry net when machine washing - available here.
  • Air it out between wears and wash only when needed

Tip: Merino often benefits from airing out between wears, meaning fewer washes and longer life.
